Acrylic and Temperature
Acrylic can be used in temperatures up to 80 degree Celsius. Higher temperatures for longer periods will
cause the acrylic to melt. Temperatures down to -40 degree Celsius is not a problem.

Acrylic is widely used within lamps. But one must be very careful regard heating. At 80 degree Celsius the acrylic begins to melt and deform, with the risk of fire.
